Contagion Movie Premier at Jazz Club Lincoln Center

By | Movie Premiere/ Hollywood | 2 Comments

Last September, Tantawan Bloom had an opportunity to work with Events in Motion the first time to design the flower arrangements for the movie premiere “Contagion” at the Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center. Big stars like Matt Damon (who was joined by his wife Luciana Barroso), gorgeous Marion Cotillard, Michael Douglas and the Hollywood hottie Olivia Munn were on the red carpet promoting the movie before heading inside for New York City screening.

We were very excited to be a part of that glamorous night! Although it was Tantawan Bloom’s first time at the movie premiere festivity, we enhanced the party with our breathtaking flower designs. And our hard-working and beautiful flower designs were surely acknowledged by Events in Motion because we have been invited back to different movie premiere after that. Stay tune!

Thank you Bentley Meeker for the beautiful lighting and Designer8 for the gorgeous furniture. Special thanks to the team at The Rose Theater, Jazz at Lincoln Center and Events in Motion. We are honored to be able to work with them. A big round of applause to our team from Tantawan Bloom to dedicate themselves to make that glamorous night happen!

Happily Ever After: Sally & Matt at the Plaza Hotel

By | Weddings | One Comment

For this event, we were blessed with the impeccable organization of planner Courtney Preston for Save the Date. Courtney brought bride Sally and her Mom to our studio for a consultation and all was a breeze from there-on out. Sally’s wonderful Mother was full of ideas, thanks to her own green thumb – and since we’re in the business of making dreams come true, that’s exactly what we did!

Many thanks to Courtney as well as Steve Rice and his always professional team at the Plaza Hotel for helping to pull off this beautiful wedding – and twenty-four foot bridal table!!! 😀

Sleek, Sophisticated Bat Mitzvah at Studio Square, NYC

By | Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, Uncategorized | No Comments

This black and yellow Bat Mitzvah was held this past November 6 at a new space here in the city, Studio Square. Our client was after a sleek, sophisticated look that would evoke the style of the W Hotel. Staying true to clean, square shape and sleek, modern design, we were able to make our client dream come true. 🙂

Many thanks to Amy & Jessica at Studio Square for all of their hard work and dedication to making this event a success!

The day after this wonderful family had a son tie the knot, their daughter Kavita began her own journey with her fiance Kabir via this beautiful summer Mehndi-Sangeet, also held at the family home in Oyster Bay.

All of the below beautiful photos © Danny Weiss 🙂

I love this photo of Kavita taking the decor for the first time with Kabir – her expression is why I love what I do!!

Up next, Kavita & Kabir’s nuptials the following day at the New York Public Library… 🙂

Vibrant Blue and Yellow Wedding

By | Weddings | 2 Comments

It was an October weekend, but it was bitterly cold. And the party was in a tent! The client wanted it to be fun and cheerful, and had chosen blue and yellow as the colors I had to work with. Yes, you are right those are not easy colors to put together. If you are not careful it will look like an Easter Party.

The client, Amy, had also told me that she loves crystal, and she was really looking forward to a party that would be different, unique. Actually she used the word “delicious”. After a lot of agonizing on my part, I decided that a blue tablecloth with centerpieces of yellow flower design like French tulips, calla lilies, dahlia, roses and orchids was the way to make the blue and yellow design blended together nicely. Then we custom made five clear crystal ball chandeliers to hang over five other tables, each giving the impression of raindrops falling down onto arrangements of blue flowers with yellow tablecloths.

That night when Amy walked in to the tent, I saw her crying. They were tears of happiness and joy. We were so happy to make another beautiful bride’s dream come true!
