Tantawan Bloom is honored to have been given the opportunity to design one of the most spectacular weddings of 2013! Inez and Larry choose the Mandarin Oriental Hotel main Ballroom to host their event on June 1st. Inez was our team’s main inspiration with her unique sense of style and love to have fun. She envisioned her wedding to be a combination of modern floral design set within a sleek, loungy atmosphere in which her guests would be guaranteed to have a night of a lifetime. That being known, we knew exactly what design would make Inez happy. We transformed the room into a modern wedding by carpeting and draping the entire room in white and installing a custom seamless white dance floor highlighted by scrolling hot pink roses. Inez and Larry exchanged vows under a grand Lucite Chuppah. It was artfully enhanced by clean, white roses while their Reception was done in the most romantic setting. The room was decorated with thousands of beautiful hot pink Orchids. To further highlight the spirit of our wonderful bride, we installed disco balls on the ceiling to enhance the whole atmosphere. We were so thrilled to witness the couple and their guests so exhilarated by our work as we, Tantawan Bloom, put our heart and soul into producing this event for our very special couple. This event wouldn’t have been possible without the following:

Most importantly, we want to personally thank Inez and Larry for giving us their full trust to deliver a night of their dreams. We wish you the best of luck! Congratulations!

It was an honor for Tantawan Bloom to have the opportunity to design the floral décor for the Great Gatsby Movie Premiere at the Plaza Hotel last week. The Great Gatsby is going to be one of the big movies of this Summer; and Tantawan Bloom made sure to create a floral masterpiece for this glamorous 1920s party that would host celebrities like Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Jay Z, etc. Samatha Sackler Productions transformed the Plaza Hotel to be the glamorous Jay Gatsby’s estate. The grand entrance was decorated with trees and orchid and lined with hundreds of candles. However, the most spectacular floral design of that night was “The Oversized Chandelier”, made of feathers, orchids and crystals hanging in the middle of the Plaza Hotel Grand ballroom. This piece has become an instant hit; at Vogue Magazine instagram it received over 8,000 “likes” within a few hours and Vogue called it “Plumed perfection at the Plaza”
It’s always our privilege to work with Samatha Sackler Productions who always creates impeccably fabulous events. Thank you very much for trusting us to collaborate with your team to create the floral design of your vision. Thank you also to the Plaza CPS Events for the professionalism that we always receive from you. There is no place that suits The Great Gatsby more than this classic hotel. Thank you Bentley Meeker for your superb lighting as always. And Special “thanks” to Arnold Bower, Line 8 Photography and Napatchaya Thattawara for the beautiful photos.
