Our Pratt Gala at Mandarin Oriental Hotel New York was a success even though there was a totally unexpected incident happened. A big round of applause to our amazing team and the team from Mandarin Oriental!!
Again this year on the past Tuesday, April 17, Tantawan Bloom was invited to participate in the 15th Annual Gala: The New York Flower Show Dinner Dance 2012 at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. This year the theme of the Gala was “Couture en Fleur” to honor Lee Anderson of Lee Anderson Couture, James Taffin de Givenchy and Jack Rogers. The New York Flower Show supports The HSNY’s mission of enhancing New York City’s environmental and cultural life by providing unique educational, vocational and therapeutic outreach programs, library resources and exhibitions.
More than 20 top floral designers in New York City participated in this good cause event. We saw several inspiring designs that day. For Tantawan Bloom, we erected the 7-foot-tall floral couture dress in hot pink standing elegantly in this Gala dinner. We have to say our lady in hot pink caught a lot of attentions from the public and the press!
Special thanks to Nuage Designs for the most beautiful linen and the chair covers, Stephanie Chin and her team from The Horticultural Society of New York, the team from 583 Park Avenue and the most important is to thank our team who dedicatedly make this gorgeous dress happen!

When Grace Ormonde called to invite Tantawan Bloom to be a part of NYC’s celebration of her new book, we couldn’t have been more thrilled. Held on October 15th at the Plaza Hotel, Manhattan’s premiere heads of the event industry were all in attendance to celebrate “Being in Love Never Goes out of Style”.

Tantawan Bloom was honored to provide floral decor for the Verrier S/S 2011 Presentation at this season’s NY Mercedes Benz Fashion Week. Designer Ashleigh Verrier and her mother Jude had a soft and whimsical “Champagne Garden Party” vision in mind to showcase their S/S 2011 line.
We took this stark outdoor palette…
… and filled it with charming florals!

What a HONOR to have been paired up with catwalk icon Pat Cleveland and House of Field for Thursday night’s 9th Annual Tulips & Pansies!
Our headpiece was inspired by a David Dalrymple for House of Field ‘Keith Haring’ dress. Tulips, peonies, roses, sweet peas and phalaenopsis orchids attracted a throng of colorful butterflies in a flower-power funk-flashback that won us the title of Most Entertaining!
Announcing the winners!
What an amazing show!
Thank you to Patricia Field, David Dalrymple, Pat Cleveland and to ALL of our crew and friends for their love and support!

In one week we will be participating once again in Tulips & Pansies! We had a very successful showing last year where our collaboration with Zang Toi found us crowned Most Beautiful!
Can you guess who we may be paired with this year?
Oooh, you’ll have to check back to find out! 😉

Last Thursday evening we had the pleasure of dreaming up a tablescape for The Horticultural Society of New York Flowers and Design Gala honoring landscape designer Christian Duvernois, floral designer and event planner David Monn and Betty Sherrill of McMillen Inc.
This year’s theme was “Legends, Myths & Fairy Tales”. Those seated at Tantawan’s table were transported to a glamorous realm under the sea!
Note the fish swimming in the floral coral reef! 😉
