The Plaza Hotel’s First Same Sex Wedding!

On this past Saturday, June 9th, Tantawan Bloom was very honored to celebrate this year’s LGBT Pride Month with the first fabulous same-sex wedding at the Plaza Hotel New York. This opportunity is exhilarating for us because not only is it our first same-sex wedding, but it is the FIRST same-sex wedding at Plaza Hotel, New York City!

The couple had a very excited vision on their most special night. They wanted to get married in the park! As they wished, that night we literally transformed the Plaza Hotel ballroom to be one of the most romantic parks. Our grooms and guests were AMAZED with the designs and how we made their fabulous vision come true.

We are so proud of our team who worked feverishly hard to make that magical night happen. Special thanks to the team from American Foliage, Nuage Designs for the gorgeous furniture, Bentley Meeker for the beautiful lighting and the team from the Plaza Hotel for their help.

Glamorous Wedding Night at the Plaza Hotel New York

This Bride loved her wedding to be glamorous and unconventional. She dreamed of having her most special night with a blend of her favorite colors; black, white and pink with a lot of hanging crystals and the most glamorous and romantic ceremony design. She knew what she wanted and we loved that! The night turned out to be very fabulous especially the crystal tree escort card with pink orchids wowed the guests at the Plaza Hotel that night.

Special thanks to the fabulous Amy Kimball for the superb planning and executing job in this wedding, Bentley Meeker for the lighting and the team from the Plaza Hotel. We are looking to work with you guys again soon!

Graffiti Bar Mitzvah at The Plaza Hotel New York

Last November, Tantawan Bloom had one of the most unusual but creative Bar Mitzvah ever for Mitchell at the Plaza Hotel New York. We named it “Graffiti Bar Mitzvah”. Natalie and Mark, Mitchell’s parents, told us the Bar Mitzvah boy had a huge thing about graffiti and they would like Tantawan Bloom to incorporate graffiti to our floral design in their son’s bar mitzvah night. It was very challenging and exciting for us to totally create something new and out of the box. Together with our design, graffiti graphic and the lighting, we transformed the Plaza Hotel to be a very artistic and hip club for Mitchell. It was one of the most memorable Bar Mitzvahs and everyone was so happy and blown away by our design especially our new escort card.

Our special thanks go to the graffiti graphic designer, Peter Raphael Castro, Steve Rice and his team at the Plaza Hotel for their professionalism, Bentley Meeker for the very beautiful lighting, Arnold from Bentley Meeker and Adagion for the very beautiful pictures. The most important people we have to thank is our team who worked so hard to make the night wonderfully happened!

Enchanting Wedding Night at the Plaza Hotel New York City

We first posted this enchanting wedding pictures back in November and that gorgeous wedding night at the Plaza Hotel New York City is unforgettable. That night, Tantawan Bloom transformed the hotel to be a very romantic and sacred castle for the bride and the groom to share their love and exchange the vow. We just received more wedding pictures and we would like to share them with you. Special thanks to Arnold from Arnold Brower Photography for the very beautiful pictures. Enchanting Wedding Night at the Plaza Hotel

Tantawan Bloom Floral Design and Event Planner

We, Tantawan Bloom team, had delivered one of the most beautiful wedding nights on the past Labor Day weekend at the Plaza Hotel. Our gorgeous bride had the wedding night of her dream with all the beautiful white orchids, shinny crystals and hundreds of romantic candles. Starting from the ceremony in the Terrace Room, we erected a very spectacular Chuppah that was filled with white orchids, orchid laces, hanging crystals and hanging candles. We also planted the room with hundreds of candles and tons of white rose petals. With the elegant amber color lighting from Bentley Meeker and our floral design, it made the ceremony room felt like a sacred space for two loving persons to exchange their vow to each other. At the reception room, Tantawan Bloom transformed the Grand Ballroom to be a very romantic castle for the bride and the groom to enjoy their most special night with their love ones. The room was lit up with purple lighting and it enhanced our romantic centerpieces. We have to say everyone was so delightful that evening at the Plaza Hotel.

We are so grateful to have a chance to work with the most talented Harriet Rose Katz. Thank you so much to give us the opportunity to be able to work with you and your team. Also special thanks to Steve Rice and his team from the Plaza Hotel, the catering team from CPS Events, Bentley Meeker for the beautiful lighting and Adagion Studio for all the beautiful pictures from the wedding. “Sophisticated New York” Black & White: Rudy Giuliani Officiates Wedding of Yankees broadcaster Michael Kay to WPIX News Anchor Jodi Applegate at the Plaza Hotel, NYC (PART II)

We first posted the wedding pictures of this beautiful couple, Jodi Applegate and Michael Kay, back in February and we still remember how beautiful of the wedding night was at the Plaza Hotel. That night, Tantawan Bloom created the elegant and sophisticated floral design with white Hydrangeas, Roses and our signature Phalaenopsis orchids that made the wedding ceremony even more romantic and memorable. Diana & Matt’s Wedding at the Plaza Hotel

Spring is finally here and Tantawan Bloom starts the season of love with the beautiful wedding between Diana and Matt on the past Saturday at the Plaza Hotel. To make that night a very special night, we created a giant cherry blossom tree to welcome our guests right at the entrance of the wedding reception. In the main ballroom, Tantawan Bloom designed the special eleven feet cherry blossom centerpieces for each table and we filled the whole area with pink flowers. Our bride and groom were absolutely gorgeous that night especially Diana. She looked stunning! Watching this beautiful couple exchanging the vow, we were so happy to witness their love and be a part of this wonderful night. Again congratulations Diana and Matt. Bar Mitzvah for Darren Zar at the Plaza Hotel

On April 3, we had an opportunity to celebrate Bar Mitzvah with Darren Zar. To make this once in a life time celebration memorable, the party was held at one of our favorite hotels, The Plaza Hotel. Tantawan Bloom planned the whole event and named the party theme as “Victoria Secret Night for Darren” and we invited beautiful models to the party to celebrate with Darren. We also designed a special floral decoration, we called it “Lampshade Disco Ball” centerpiece in order to make this special night fun, energetic yet elegant. The night was filled with joy and our young friend, Darren, seemed to have so much fun. We, Tantawan Bloom, are just so happy to be a part of this special time with Darren.
