George the World Traveler’s Bar Mitzvah

There is no denying that the Greenwich, Connecticut’s premier restaurant, L’Escale, was completely transformed for George’s Bar Mitzvah. We took this traditional space and put our own clean and modern twist on it! If you are familiar with this restaurant you wouldn’t believe it was the same place after we were done with it! To make it happen we had to customize everything including the carpet and light fixtures!

George isn’t your typical 13 year old. He loves to travel and wanted to share his experiences from the places he had been with all of his friends and family. For this world traveler, we created an 8 x 14 foot world map escort card wall design that was made from living plants. We made mini neon chartreuse airplanes that hung from the wall with each containing the name of the guest along with their seating assignment. Each table number represented a place where George had visited and we also had three murals personally designed for him to show off all of those places! We worked closely with the designer to come up with a logo that not only followed his gray, white and neon theme, but also represented his bright personality. We used this design to customize soda bottles, pillows, and even the dance floor!L 'Escale Bar Mitzvah photo 09

These arrangements were complemented with forest green, neon, and chartreuse moss covering the tables. For the outdoor cocktail area overlooking the water, we combined lovely shades of white, purple and green to tie in the modernistic style!L 'Escale Bar Mitzvah photo 12

To finish the night, George gave his friends personalized party favors that really stuck true to his theme. This was certainly a night nobody will ever forget!L 'Escale Bar Mitzvah photo 13We had so much fun working with George and his family on bringing his dream Bar Mitzvah to life. We wish George the best of luck in life and look forward to hearing all about his future travels!

Until Next Time,

Jessica
